So, what’s weeding, you ask? It’s the delightful method of peeling away unwanted vinyl from around a cut shape. This could reveal something as simple as a circle or, like our latest masterpiece, a dragon. After 8 hours on our new vinyl puzzle, I’ve got the dragon’s nose complete! (Yes, it’s a labor of love, and yes, it’s going to take some time, but trust me, the result will be worth it!)

While there are plenty of crafty tools available for picking your decals, my favorite tool is actually from my embroidery kit. A pincer grasp with a thin tip that can thread a needle! Who knew? But don’t worry, we include a handy paperclip with your order. If you find the tip not sharp enough, remember, you shouldn’t be pushing too hard or going through the back of the paper anyway.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
